I just took my 3rd active pill about 10 minutes ago after a break week from my pill (same pill 5 years ) and I’m still spotting - is this the same for any one else ?
I use continuously until I breakthrough bleed then have a break, I started bleeding day 3/4 of my break week.
Does a 7 day break help you with breakthrough bleeding?

Hi everyone - I’ve been severely anemic for years due to heavy periods, im looking for advice in regards to brith control pills to help regulate or lighten or potentially stop monthly cycles for Atleast 12 months I’m on a waiting list for ablation and tube removal or hopefully hysterectomy (done having kids )
I have been on levlen and that helped for a while now experiencing long heavy bleeds on active pills going into a break week , have been told to try estelle next - any advice or experiences welcomed 🙏🏻
Have been in micronelle 30 for 5 years had great luck with skipping for 12 months at a time then having a break for 7 days and experience extremely heavy withdrawal bleeds for 2 -3 weeks then skip for another 10 months -I had a break in March after 10 months continuous and I’m on another break now because o kept breakthrough bleeding randomly since March - I’ve been prescribed Estelle 35 - torn between trying my old pill one more time or trying the new one. ? Any advice welcome

If you have been experiencing breakthrough bleeding on your pill you’ve been on for years and your doctor prescribes you a new pill would you have a 7 day break first (currently bleeding on actives) then start your new pill?

I have been on the pill for 6 years almost same pill micronelle 30 (or levlen) I’m severely anemic so use to stop periods as long as possible - break where I spot - last break was 1 month ago I’m spotting again , usually I can go minimum 10 months of no placebo pills and no bleeding at all then a 7 day break where I bleed for atleast 2 weeks - contemplating a stronger pill? What worked for you if you have had this issue
