Honeymoon uti
My partner and I have been together for 7 years. We have been sexually active the first 6 years and have had no problems. We stayed abstinence for about 10 months and then got married and obviously starting having sex again. It’s been about a month since we’ve been married. I got my first ever UTI about 4 days after our first time again. Literally felt like I lost my virginity again. I bled but other than that it was normal. I was in pain but it did get better. Obviously we were on vacation so we were drinking but the first 2 days I had symptoms but didn’t pay attention to them cuz I thought it was apart of my period or something but then it got worse. I was on a cruise ship so there wasn’t much h I could do. I eventually got on antibiotics and stopped drinking and symptoms subsided. About a full 8 days after I completely had no more symptoms I got another one (or the same one) and went to the doctor and got on different antibiotics. Once I finished those I had no symptoms. Went about 2 weeks no symptoms and after having sec about 2 days later (again) I got ANOTHER one. I am not wanting to go to the doctor again but it’s getting really annoying and want to go back to normal and just have sex as a newly married couple. Suggestions on what to do ?!
