2024 mechanical engineering grad at an aerospace prime. Recently diagnosed with autism and ADHD, and I’m looking for a career with less masking, less constant communication, and a better fit for how my brain works. IT keeps coming up in my research.

I don’t mind a pay cut if it means fewer accommodations and coping skills just to get through the day. Anyone neurodivergent in IT, does it live up to that reputation? Any roles or niches worth looking into?

Been regularly vaping flower at night for the last 3 weeks, one day suddenly I got the worse stomach pain of my life. History of GERD/IBS, and I can tell THC is the culprit.

My stomach is suddenly extremely sensitive to THC, I feel it in the middle of my belly, chest, and abdomen. My stomach makes lots of sounds and I feel every movement in my intestines. I tested with CBD flower and I didn’t get the same reaction. It’s been progressing over time and now I have diarrhea and constipation during the day that can’t be explained.

I’m also going through a stressful life event.

How can I get CHS in less than a month? Is it even possible?

I’ve been vaping weed regularly for 3 weeks. Out of nowhere, my abdomen now spasms hard if I take anything more than a microdose hit. I end up on the floor dry heaving until the THC wears off, and a hot shower is the only thing that helps. It’s only active during usage, and my stools have been very soft and foul smelling even after usage.

I have a history of gut motility issues and IBS. I always thought CHS took years of heavy use to develop, and mine seems to affect my gut only with no other symptoms.

Anyone have this issue, especially with pre existing GI issues? I’m terrified.
