Hey, I previously had nexplanon from Jan 2020 and then removed it altogether in March 2026 as my GP recommended it would help with my hormonal acne to get off birth control. While I think this is working (albeit with breakouts still occurring along the way lol) my main concern is I haven’t had a period since March (got it a week after removal) and I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with their period taking a few months to return to a regular cycle? prior to 2020 I was on the pill so this is my first time off birth control in ten years so appreciate my hormones are still going to be a bit all over the place.
