Advice on cutting(?)
Hello, first time poster here. I started working out and dieting around 2 months ago or so. I’ve been in a calorie deficit and lifting heavy while on an upper/lower split 4x weekly.
The scale has gone down. Started at ~190lbs and currently around ~175lbs I use MacroFactor to track and manage my macro targets. I’ve noticed a difference in weight obviously, but I’m not sure if I’m getting stronger/bigger? Workouts usually shows 1-2 lifts gaining a small % but not all of them.
5’11” height, eating 1500-1600cals, 149 protein daily.
I guess my main question being, is what I’m currently doing okay? Should I change anything? I was very out of shape before this, and recently took up running, and work outside 3x weekly. Sorry if it’s hard to understand I’m very ignorant in this topic.
