Just picked up antibiotics.
5 days of mupirocin did nothing. This hurts and started oozing and soaked through bandaids so I finally caved and went to urgent care. 10 days of keflex….
Doc said to me “it’s not the prettiest, and I’d be lying if i told you it wasn’t one of the most extreme cases of paronychia I’ve seen.”
Now I have a thumb coated with muporicin, a bandaid, and topped with a finger condom.
Will this be enough to kick my nail biting? Based on my track record of 33 years, sadly it’s probably not.
