Grad housing

I got into the MSW graduate program for fall 26, I’m trying to find out more information about housing. I’ve read all the information the school provides but I’m curious what the actual students think? Is there a housing complex people recommend? Is the grad student housing the way to go or should I stick to off campus and finding roommates on Facebook? I’ve been to Seattle before but I’m from California so I don’t fully know my way around the area and I’m trying to filter through all the information to figure out my best options. Any help and advice would be great!

CSMB 2yr vs 3yr

After getting rejected from all my top California schools I’m reconsidering CSMB for masters. The alternatives are reapplying ( I don’t want to do that) or going to UW ( too expensive)

I am waitlisted for the 2yr program but they said I could get in if I accept the 3yr program. I have to accept by the 15th and in turn I would reject the option for the 2yr. this doesn’t sound that ideal to me right now but neither do my other options.

I’m also having reservations about the program itself. I feel like it’s not great and as a young (23F) I really wanted to move somewhere with a good environment for someone younger.. a fun new city.

I’m just having so many different reservations. Does anyone have any information they can share on their experience with CSMB or even just Monterey bat as a place??? Thanks!
