Subaru STI Hatchback as a family fun car?
I currently have a 2001 Land Cruiser for dadlife things and a 2009 S2000 for myself but I wanted something fun and sporty that I can enjoy with my wife and daughter. I thought about a 8th gen civic si sedan and how it would compliment the S2000 nicely or a Lexus is300 manual LSD but heard they’re very underwhelming stock. Thought about an Evo but their prices are climbing and read the Evo X trunk is smaller due to battery and other things moved back there for better weight distribution so taking the stroller bags etc can be tight. Sti hatchback seems like a great middle car between s2k and LC. I know proper timely maintenance is a big thing on these cars and they require a good owner to take care of them, but I would be looking for a completely stock or extremely lightly modified example. I’d like this to be the car my kid/kids are excited about getting driven in. Any other Dads on here whip an Sti hatchback around?
