Ngl Lex deserved to be evil

Please I be am only on season 3 epi 9(when Lex is committed) so no spoilers.

But this man had two people in his life, gaslighting him simultaneously. His dad and Clark.

Now, don’t get me wrong Clark did it for his own safety and I understand that because at the end of the day he did care for Lex but Lex genuinely thought he was crazy because the things that Clark was doing, wasn’t making any sense so I feel like if Clark wasn’t Superman and doing all that extra stuff like I understand gaslighting him and not telling him but it’s like he’s seeing you do the craziest stuff ever with his own eyes and then ur gaslighting him into thinking his eyes are playing tricks.

His father is just pure evil though. Lionel is actually insane because first of all he gaslit him so bad and had him on drugs that he convinced everyone that he was crazy. And Alex knew he wasn’t crazy so he knew he was being gaslit, but he came off as so crazy that it just wasn’t believable and then when a month later, his son still didn’t believe him he made him go through electro shock therapy so he could forget. Mind you, this man murdered his own parents for an insurance claim so he’s been evil from the jump frl.

But so far I’m on season three of Smallville and it’s just three seasons of Lex getting gaslit. But yeah, I probably turn out evil too if that was my upbringing.

Does Lana come from a line of cheaters?

I’m currently on season three episode six and this is where we find out that Jor-El(Clark’s bio father) was in Smallville and was in love with Lana’s great aunt, but she was cheating on her husband with him.

Also, if we remember, she is the product of an affair because her mother was with another man while she was married to her husband.

Are Lang women incapable of staying loyal?
