Dog had a seizure right before they walked in my shop

My second dog today, a hairy senior shepherd mix named Maya, started drooling the second I opened my door and said hello. Her mom thought she had gotten something in her mouth so tried to look and Maya started shaking and her mom said she's having a seizure. I asked if she had had them before and she said yes, but started panicking when she realized she had no seizure medicine with her and was adamant she needed to get to the vet. The mom is a small older lady so I told her to start her car and I would carry Maya, who had fallen over by now. My back is regretting this decision, but there was no one else there and no other choice. I carried her while she was still seizing to the car and was trying to talk to my customer to make sure she was ok and knew where to go but she was just yelling that she needed to get to the vet and she would be in touch so I closed her door and she peeled out of the driveway. That was at 9 this morning. I texted her about 9:30 just saying I was worried about them and if she had a free moment if she could give me a quick update but if she couldn't, I totally understand and for them to take care. I still haven't heard from her and I'm so worried. Idk if I did the right thing. I maybe should have tried to get her to stay until after the seizure was over. And she was so distraught, I hope she didn't get into a wreck! Ugh so I'm off work early today and worried sick about them.

I have my sweet girl back ❤️

TW: child loss

This is Mina and she is 15 years old. I got her when she was 2 months old and I was 19. I'm now 34 and I can't believe how much of a lifetime ago that was.

6 years ago, my son died in the delivery room and my entire world fell apart. I could not take care of myself, yet I somehow still had to take care of my other 2 children. My sweet Mina became something extra that I could not handle. I asked my ex MIL if she would take her because she has a farm and other cats.

So for the last 6 years she's been a farm cat and a pretty happy one at that. Despite knowing she was happy, I have felt guilty for years for giving her up. My ex MIL contacted me last week saying she was afraid that her new dog was going to hurt Mina because she was not being cautious at all around him and asked if I would be able to take her back. So now my son's 6th bday is next week and here I am with my kitty back and it stirs up so many emotions.

I just wanted to share how pretty and sweet she is ❤️ I'm so glad shes back with me.
