I've been on the streets for 5 years. Been to more states than I can count, lived in 5. I'd consider myself to have lived a vagabond lifestyle somewhat. But I'm tired. And for those of you familiar with r/outside, I'm thinking about deactivating my account. I can't find a job man. I'm honestly just tired of trying. I don't even have the energy to describe my recent failures. I can't even afford a damn vape or a joint. I have like 5 cents to my name and I'm in one of the most expensive places in the US (Portland). Much less affording a bus pass to look for work, laundry, activating my phone for directions and getting job calls etc. Everytime I ask for advice I get the same stuff that I've already tried. I'm just done.
