Not sure how I stumbled across this, but I found this new Danish band called Zappa and their debut Sidste Gæld has been stuck in my head.
It’s this really intense psychedelic indie rock thing. The vocals are a bit unhinged in the best way and the whole song feels strangely claustrophobic.
Apparently it was written on a beach in the Philippines right before a breakup, which is honestly a pretty fitting origin story for the song.
Anyway, thought someone here might appreciate it.
