Looking for a Rwby fic!
So imma be completely honest, i barely remember much about this story just an important part of the story. I don't remember the pairings either.
These are the important bits of the part stuck in my head
Blake's parents are traveling with a convoy through a mountainous forest region just outside the range of a CCT tower
The Tracking: Right before the big action scene, Team RWBY finds a communication/CCT tower out in the wild. They use it to find the coordinates/signal of a traveling convoy.
The Ambush & The Cave Battle
The Convoy: Ghira, Kali, Ilia, and a group of guards are escorting a caravan of people/civilians through a forested, mountainous Grimm territory.
The Attack: The convoy is heavily ambushed by Grimm.
The Defense: The guards herd the civilians and non-combatants into a nearby cave to protect them. Ghira and the main guards form a defensive perimeter, fighting at the mouth of the cave to hold the bottleneck.
The Rescue: Team RWBY arrives in the nick of time to join the fray and help finish off the Grimm.
The Aftermath: During the rest period after the battle, as everyone is catching up, it is revealed that Ilia is one of the guards helping protect the civilians who couldn't fight.
The Morning After
The Damage: The transport vehicles and wagons the Belladonnas were using are severely damaged or destroyed from the attack.
Yang's Solution: The next morning, before everyone sets out again, Yang uses her mechanical skills to salvage the scraps of one of the broken wagons. She builds a makeshift trailer and hitches it to the back of Bumblebee.
