I am a senior level engineer but honestly i am not doing well enough in interviews and job searching. I need to study and prep more. Im unemployed right now, we have some runway but i see my peers taking months to find jobs, likewise for myself. We had to downsize to a 2 bedroom apartment from a house too, which has been difficult with 2 little kids, one is an infant.

I need some advice, do i need to drive 45 mins away and pay $100+ per day for a private space where i can take calls and video calls and job prep? Im just struggling with that choice tbh, that wont even guarantee a job. Has anyone been through something similar? What worked?
