Workplace Ninjas US 2027 | Why You Should Attend

Happy Monday Everyone!

Now, since we have announced our entire speaker lineup, we wanted to re-familiarize everyone on why you should attend Workplace Ninjas US 2027 in Scottsdale, AZ on January 11-13, 2027

As shown on Friday, we have the finest speakers from all around the world joining us from roughly 15 countries as far as Australia. A collection of not only #Microsoft #MVPs, security experts, Microsoft employees, and more!

An amazing pre-day with a collection of activities that foster collaboration, teamwork, and growth with our golf outing at the The Phoenician Resort, #LegoMasters tournament, #5K Fun Run, and Pool Party to get things started right!

One of the most unique #Community #Theatres running in an American Idol-esque format, showcasing 15 minute #lightninground sessions with a few of our speakers there to help your speaking and presentation skills.

An event that is so much more than just an event. It's an experience, a family, and a break from the chaos of #AI and the rest of it. We will have several experiences like a Recharge and Relax Area, Puppy Play Area, Podcast Studio themed to Lucy's Psychiatry Booth, and Puppy Yoga.

A fun and dynamic expo that will feature not just a bunch of #MSIntune sponsors, but sponsors from #DaaS, #Intune, #Security, #Automation, and much more! The perfect opportunity to find integration partners that fill the gaps in your #Microsoft stack. We even have outdoor sponsors, to let you engage in relaxed settings powered by an expo party that will be next level with incredible food and drinks.

Our #Speaker #Mentoring sessions are back known as "Elevate" Sessions, where anyone can sign-up for a 30m mentoring session with any of our speakers. It's an amazing opportunity to learn from some of the very best in the industry and solve those pesky problems that have been lingering from our friends at Microsoft Support.

Dynamic Sessions in a trackless format covering more areas than ever before with #Mobile, #Windows, #MSIntune, #MSEntra, #AI, #Copilot, #Windows365, #AVD, #MSSecurity, #Azure, #Automation, #PowerShell, #MCP, and more!

Swag that you actually want to keep! This year, we will elevate things by bringing back your favorite items like the thenorthface backpacks, and introducing items like collectable drink cups for the expo, beach towels, shirts, and #Clippy coins used to buy swag at our new SWAG STORE run by a collection of the best customer service people around (the kids of the people involved)

The most important reason why you should attend is simple. This is an event by US and for US. We are a bunch of friends who get together and do this for you. We want everyone to have an opportunity to meet special people, do good things, and learn together. We are a full non-profit organization because of one simple reason. We've been to many events, we've seen everything. An event, where every cent is spent on you, where there is no profit, no organization, just people serving people is our true differentiator.

Workplace Ninjas US Speakers Round 7 Announcement (Last Full Set)

Happy Monday and welcome to Round 7 of our speaker announcements, we only have a few left (3-4) after this set.

Last week we announced: Esther Barthel AJ Zafar John Joyner Frank Lesniak Peter Daalmans [MVP] and Aria Hanson

This week, we cover 6 amazing people who happen to be brilliant as well!

Tim Mangan, who I affectionately refer to as the father of #MSIX is THE definitive expert on #MSIX #AppAttach and so much more in the VDI space.

Bernhard Tritsch, the better half of the Ruben Spruijt and Benny show in the #VDI space is well-known for being a master of measuring performance and understanding exactly how things work like the #Doctor he is.

Danny Stutz, promoted from co-speaker to speaker this year has been an amazing young talent doing some wonderful things in the #PowerShell #Automation and #AI space over the last year.

Spencer Alessi, a new #MVP and nominee for the #ROTY Clippy, is an amazing guy and brilliant mind in #ActiveDirectory known for doing 100+ #AD #Pentests per year, will be joining us as a new speaker. We finally had the chance to meet him at #Blackhat and we couldn't be more convinced he was a perfect addition to the family.

Megan Gremmell, our moderator of #WomeninTech and #NeurodiversityinTech last year will be joining one of our unannounced speakers to cover #Windows365 for #Agents, which should be one of the top sessions in January.

Danielle Moon, is one of our biggest new additions this year. When I asked my amazing advisors like Sucheta Gawade and Lindsay Shelton, who do we absolutely NEED to champion our #neurodiversity and #women in #tech initiatives this year, it was 100% going to be Danielle. She's a force right now and we're so lucky that she's coming to join us!

You have to register now folks, because those registrations are picking up now and are going fast!! Only a few more early birds remain to join the fastest growing event in #EUC and #Microsoft.

Workplace Ninjas US 2027: New Speakers Announced (Round 6)

We're very proud to bring the 6th round of speakers to Workplace Ninjas US. Believe it or not, we only have about 1 one set left and all of our speakers will be officially announced!

Last week, we announced a great set of people with April Dunnam Chris Cavazos Morten Waltorp Knudsen [MVP] Simon Binder Somesh Pathak [MVP] 🇳🇱 and Mike Soule

This week, we have just as strong of a set of amazing people.

Our friend Esther Barthel is an absolute rockstar in the #DaaS and #VDI space and reigning #Clippy winner from Dallas. She has been blowing our minds for years all the way back to the #VMware days where her amazing automation and thought-leadership around all things VDI and DaaS.

AJ Zafar, our resident Chief #Vibe Officer is one of the best people you could meet in this community. Always a smile on his face, big hugs, and just leads with kindness and humility. He's one of our #Copilot and #AI experts, who always has some amazing ideas that take our breath away.

John Joyner, a long-time #MVP continues to amaze us with some incredible #Security sessions on things like #DefenderXDR and often has very interesting sessions that take us outside the box. Like his #IOT session last year! He rocked the stage in Dallas twice in 2 years at Workplace Ninjas US 2025 and our local in April.

Frank Lesniak, is a recent addition to the #Microsoft MVP program, who was long overdue. He also happens to be another nominee for a crowded "Next-Gen Ninja" #Clippy in Scottsdale. Frank is doing some amazing stuff with #AI right now coupled with that #PowerShell expertise. We can't wait to see him in Scottsdale, after a great session with Frank and Danny Stutz in Scottsdale recently at a Recast event in Chicago.

Peter Daalmans [MVP], another member of the fantastic leadership of WorkPlace Ninja Summit will be joining us in Scottsdale for the first time! Peter, who is an amazing person and brilliant mind on all things #MSIntune will be one of many Dutchies joining us with some of that Dutch magic that Rudy Ooms makes famous.

🩹 Aria Hanson is one of our more exciting additions to Scottsdale. We recently met Aria for the first time (she is in fact a person and not some product, like we thought!), will be joining us to share some of those amazing insights on #Patching which she is an expert on. We cannot wait to see what she has in store for us!

This week's set shows you how many brilliant speakers we're bringing to you in Scottsdale. With every week, it gets BETTER and BETTER. Do not miss out! Early bird is still open, and NOW is your chance to sign-up and join us:

Workplace Ninjas US Activities

Removed all emojis, since people think I’m a bot when I never have. I used them as callouts, but it’s cool

Today, we're going to talk about the activities that we have planned for you at Workplace Ninjas US.

Our activities this year are what make this event so special. Sure, anyone can throw together a bunch of sessions. Don't get me wrong, we have 60+ sessions from one of the finest sets of speakers that have ever been assembled, but we can do better.

January 11th, 2027 will be our pre-day where we do some amazingly fun things throughout the entire day.

Our #WPNinjasUS Fun Run 5K will kick off at 7 AM at the Canal just a block away. It's sponsored by our friends at Omnissa where we will run a few laps for the The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research!

We will be doing an amazing Golf Tournament sponsored by Ferroque Systems Inc. at 9 AM, at the incredible The Phoenician Resort where the #PhoenixOpen is played. This event will have a capacity of 40 people, featuring a number of #MVPs and experts in a small and fun setting.

Our #LegoMasters tournament for those non-golfers will be running 10 AM-2 PM where we will be building the #USSEnterprise in this #StarTrek event. This team format will be a ton of fun, and we certainly encourage you to dress-up in your best #Trekkie outfit for a chance at additional prizes/swag.

The #Hackathon in its second year sponsored by WorkspaceDNA (the artists f.k.a. #Rimo3), will move to this #RoundRobin format where we will have 5 captains, and they will build their teams live and create an amazing product live with a #Clippy Trophy on the line and other prizes. We will even have our #Scholars involved, as we recently secured funding to sponsor 5-6 people with 3 years or less in tech, once again thanks to our friends at Devicie

The final event of the night will be the Opening Night Pool Party sponsored by Patch My PC, which will have an open bar, incredible buffet, and tons of fun (and likely ducks). This will be a can't miss opportunity to hang out with the attendees and have a blast.

It's not just the preday that has fun activities!!

Day 1, will feature a Puppy Play Area, where you can play with a bunch of adorable puppies when you've had too much #AI or too much #Microsoft and just need a break from all that tech stuff. This is a special opportunity to de-stress and de-compress with your friends.

Day 2, will have our Puppies & Yoga event at 7 AM, where you get 45 minutes of yoga, and another 30 minutes of puppy playtime. We love dogs, so what can we really say there?

We're going to have a ton of fun in Scottsdale January 11-13, 2027, and these are just the initial things we have planned. We will continue to add other opportunities for people to have a special time in that amazing 70-degree weather.

Make sure you register now friends!!

4th Set of Speakers Announced for Workplace Ninjas US 2027

Hi All,

We announced 6 more speakers today, which is very exciting:

📎 Christiaan Brinkhoff, one of our very good friends and forces behind much of #AVD and #Windows365, who is now EX-Microsoft and makes his new home at Nerdio will be joining us for a great session. He recently moved back to the Netherlands. We're ready to welcome him back to America! He never disappoints as one of the better speakers our community has to offer.

👮 Rod Trent, the man who can truly do it all, and a prolific Microsoft speaker. Rod is an author, amazing #MSSecurity #evangelist, technologist, and just all-around amazing person. We're so glad after some conflicts last year, that he will finally join us in the desert to help anchor our security sessions.

💥 Ugur Koc was soft launched awhile back like our friend Rudy Ooms, and also has a new home this time around joining Robopack while bringing that energy to the #AI space at Robopack. The man of 1000 agents, and reigning #hackathon champion will be trying to repeat in January.

👩‍🔬Sandy Zeng is someone we have idolized for a long-time. She is an absolute rockstar, who wrote #IntuneDiff in a world where everyone is basically building the same agent. She stood out with this great product. She's a member of our #SuperFriends at CloudWay, who were the first ones to really amass a collection of brilliant #MVPs before it became to be a popular idea.

🐨 🪃 Jose Schenardie, one of the founders of our good friends at Devicie, who were the sponsors of the #scholars in Dallas, who were front and center at the #hackathon. He's one of the main reasons they've become a household name in the #MSIntune and #MSSecurity space over the last few years, with his amazing ideas, like his recently released product for #SecurityCopilot. He's more than just a #vibecoder folks.

🌴 Mirko Colemberg is how we round out this week's round of 6. We're beyond ecstatic that the brilliant founder of WorkPlace Ninja Summit will join us in Scottsdale. The team for #WPNinjaS have enabled us to do so much for our American friends, while being a brilliant #Microsoft #MSIntune thought leader and evangelist.

We've continued to say, this will be the best collection of speakers at a Microsoft-focused event in recent memory. That's what we've been hearing from the speakers who are part of this amazing event on January 11-13, 2027. We're now up to this amazing set of people:

  • Merill Fernando

Johan Arwidmark is one of the smarter people in the #MSIntune world, specializing in things like #OSD, #SCCM, and so much more.

Mona Ghadiri is another special person who made an amazing name for herself with her amazing work in Dallas with our #scholarship recipients showing the power of true mentorship. She was one of the first #securityCopilot MVPs and is a great person to know.

Donnie Taylor is one of our favorite people, who does some amazing #AI work, as shown in his session about n8n at #WPNinjaSUS Dallas in April. He's got a few more captivating sessions that you don't want to miss.

Workplace Ninjas US 2027 | First Speaker Announced: Merill Fernando

Hi All!!

As we officially announced over the weekend on Twitter/X, the one and only Merill Fernando is our first officially confirmed speaker for Workplace Ninjas US 2027 in Scottsdale.

Our dear friend Merill recently announced he's leaving Microsoft to do his own thing. He's someone who is very special to all of us and personifies our mantra of surrounding ourselves with good people who just contribute to that immaculate vibe aesthetic we showed throughout Dallas.

One of our core principles is to bring people YOU want to see to our events. Merill epitomizes that concept as one of the first events ever to bring Merill to the states. We saw how all of you responded through mentoring sessions, engagement, and just hanging out.

With Merill engaging on his new journey, you better believe we will be celebrating his time with Microsoft with a "Merill-bration" of sorts. Make sure you register now, and don't miss out at a bigger, better, and dare I say it MORE FUN year two in Scottsdale.
