Is Paris worth visiting solo?
I have heard lots of bad stories, though, which I know could happen anywhere, but I feel like those thoughts in the back of my mind would ruin the trip.

Reviews say good location but do not always explain why, or whether someone felt comfortable coming and going alone. What signals do you personally look for when deciding where to stay?
Most hotels around the world need your passport for check in, and in recent years some countries require Airbnb hosts by law to ask for guests passports as well. So as solo female travellers, do you feel safe giving out your passport info to Airbnb hosts or hotel reception in these circumstances?
What are some of your favorite cities in North America to travel to? Looking for some inspiration.
How do you manage feelings of fear and stress when traveling alone as a woman?
What are the best and easiest countries in Asia for solo travel for women? Thoughts on Japan and South Korea?
What non destination specific activities would you put on a list of things to do while solo travelling? I am thinking of everyday, somewhat mundane things that give insight into daily life or local culture. Ideas so far: attend a concert, go for a bike ride, get a haircut, take the bus to a random stop, accept an invitation, take a class, go to the gym, buy a piece of art, eat a local delicacy, have a conversation in the local language. What would you add?
As a solo female traveler, what are your must have travel essentials? What items make your life easier? What item changed your travel life? Any safety items?
How did you find it and where would you recommend going? Any general advice? I have read that Taiwan is quite solo travel friendly.
I've been travelling through Central America, and after 2-3 months I started to feel very dizzy, lightheaded and weak. I've felt like this for 2 months, but the past one was really strong. Also my period was late by 38 days, which never happened in past years. I tried electrolytes and it improved the dizziness a bit, and of course good sleep and whole meals, but somehow it doesn't want to disappear. Does anyone else experience this?
I'm just wondering if it's safe to leave my purse/phone on the beach while I go in the sea. I wouldn't leave it in full view, but hide it under a towel or sunbed. Or should I get one of those waterproof phone holders? Do they actually work though?
I've never travelled alone. Honestly I'm scared but I want to do it. Any recommendations? Hills or beaches?
Given safety concerns, and my plans to travel more of Africa (South, East) next year, if you've been to the continent before or know someone that has, what are your absolute no-go countries for a woman solo travelling or in a small group?
I have two weeks somewhere and I have spent three evenings just staring at a map with 50 pinned restaurants, 30 hotels, and a dozen must-see villages. I am so overwhelmed by options and conflicting reviews that I haven't booked a single thing. How are you all narrowing things down without the fear of missing out?
What are some legit travel groups for women? I'm tired of traveling alone and would love to plan trips to travel with other women, but I can't seem to find legit groups. It gets lonely!
I will soon go on a long trip and I want some very comfy pants/leggings for walking a lot. Last year, I bought leggings that squeezed my stomach during the whole trip, so I need something very light that doesn't compress my abdomen. Suggestions?
Where is your favourite spot to have travelled in Europe? Especially while solo travelling. What made it so special to you?
Two other questions: 1) The year you visited (if you can recall). 2) Were you travelling alone? Feel free to share as much or as little about your experiences as you like.
I'll be traveling Thailand for a month and I'm trying to figure out my wardrobe. I plan on bringing mostly shorts, but I am concerned about the length. I'm aware at temples my knees and shoulders will need to be covered, so I'll be bringing clothes specifically for those. My shorts are designed to be mini, so they're very short, but they don't show my butt. I just don't want to be one of those tourists who hasn't done enough research on the culture of the country they're going to.
Is 1.5 weeks enough for Thailand? I'm thinking of going there.
