Getting close to retirement and I would love to rent a small beach bungalow/house on or very close to the beach. Do a lot of spots shut down for the season? I realize weather is a gamble, but I have no issues with that. Ideally, I need a grocery store and watering hole to get me through and that would be perfect. My wife would probably come down for a week (she will still be working). Ultimately, I don’t need much. Decent but small place, place to buy cold beer, and Wi-Fi to play tunes. Would the Waves/Salvo area fit the bill? Or do I need to stay further north where it’s more populated? Early thanks for anyone’s advice/opinions.
