Tenmile Traverse

Looking to see if any of you want to tag along for the Tenmile Traverse this weekend? Probably going to do north to south and take the shuttle back. I got a pretty extensive background in the mountains including ultras, 14ers, etc. that I’m happy to elaborate further if it makes you feel more comfortable. Also I’m a 24M if that matters. Normally I’m out there solo, but it’s nice to hit a route with someone else every now and then.

Anyone Hitting Huron Tomorrow?

Looking to hit Huron and was curious if anyone else was going to be out there? Looks like weather might be rolling in so was going to try hitching a ride to the 4wd trailhead if possible. Thanks!

Longs Peak Parking

If I got to the trailhead at 5am on Thursday, how likely am I to find a parking spot? See people making comments that the lot was full by 2am, but I’m hoping that’s just the weekend. If the lot is full by that time, will street parking be able to be found easily within a mile or so of the trailhead?

Pacer with No Experience?

Running the Bighorn 100 next month, and I’m thinking about having my brother pace me for like 20 miles starting at mile 66. He’s in good shape, goes to the gym everyday and does some running. The furthest he’s done is a half marathon though. He was never really an outdoorsy person, and a bit of the clumsy type haha. It would be awesome to have someone there for part of the race, but I’m just hesitant if it’s a good idea based on his limited background in distance running and even hiking/trail running for that matter. Would I be better off meeting him at the finish line (hopefully I make it!!) or would having him join not be a problem?
