Secret HOA meeting

Brad!! Can you do another Carol HOA secret meeting call? i’m listening to the one where you called Sharon and said there was a meeting about her, then said actually you meant to call brenda not her. That shit is funny! It just works with Carol so well too.

Cast Iron Enamel

Somebody, for the love of God tell me how do you cook in a cast iron enamel pan. Like how? I have tired several times over. Everything sticks. Bad. Like am i crazy???? I don’t get it. No amount of fat/butter/oil, helps. It sticks. I have these pans i adore and i hate using them bc they suck. Like what is the purpose of this pan style, its insane to me.

Three Women

So I just wanted options on this film. I saw it for the first time when I heard Shelly Duvall passed, wanted to watch something she was in(the shinning is top tier for me, seen it 1000 times)i’ve never seen. Watched it again today and like…i love it. But it’s so out there. The ending though??? It’s chilling and shocking in a way I can’t describe. The expression Shelly makes when she finds out what happened had me on edge, she was truly a brilliant actress.

So i chose candymen next. Again this film is a gem, it’s an art piece. Great shots. Love it thru and thru, screams 90s. Virginia Madisen was fine as hell. And i might ruffle feathers but as a black man there is a message there. As far as what was done to use back then, tho this is rough, the horrors of slavery are much worse. Anyway another film i haven’t seen in years and wow it still holds up, love it. If she had minded her damn business she would be fine. But she had to dig into this community, and the way she get blamed for everything is Evil. But hey, this movie as a lid really taught me, mind ya fucking biz!

I have gone on a roll now. My childhood favorites. Who remembers the original version of the Bad Seed? Who remembers watching this late night as a kid. It’s such a dark film, but it plays in passing as light and airey, cute. When you listen to the words it’s terrible. Another master class in acting. I love every single minute. I saw a colorized version years ago, I have never seen it since. I know there is stigma around that but i found it cool. Anyways quotes “why should feel bad?? It was Claude that got drowned, not me” fucking love it!! Im gonna crown this classic horror movies day and keep going. I feel exorcist 3 coming on or maybe evil dead, who knows lol.

Anyone else have immense love for this movie? I’m watching it right now. It’s been years and immediate memories of watching it as a kid came flooding in. I freaking love it! I grew up in the 90s and to me there was nothing like it. The comic book style, the freeze frames, the lighting, the music, man it’s just as fun as it was way back when. And so many quotes. “I want my cake!” “I’ll be dipped in shit if that ain’t a meteor!” “Richard! I'm gonna get you!” “I can hold my breath a long lonnngg time!” I had this on vhs as a kid, recorded it off hbo late one night and wore it out. To see it again just makes me grin ear to ear. Anyone else love this film???
