Looking for the Best Chicken or Lamb Biriyani in the Greater Bay Area

Hey r/bayarea - I live in SF and I want to eat an incredible plate of either chicken or lamb biriyani this weekend. I am willing to travel for it. I

understand "Best Biriyani" is subjective so I will say what I am looking for is:

  • Preference for something Dum/Steam Sealed
  • Want a place that layers vs everything mixed together while cooking
  • Fluffy long grain rice
  • Golden Fried Onions

I am also open to other Andhra styles of Biriyani like: Uluvacharu/Nellore/Guntur/Gongura style Biriyanis if they are truly exceptional.

Not looking for the more pulao adjacent Lucknowni or Awadhi style Biriyanis that in my experience have been milder and sweeter

Willing to drive +/- 1 hr or so for the right place. Help me out reddit!!!!

IM 70.3 Run Tips/Question

Hey there - so I am a middle of the pack IM 70.3 participant. My PR is 6 hrs flat. Have been trying to break into the ~5 hour finish but my legs seem to always give up on me, specifically during the run. I have got a bike fit, felt I went into my races with enough (def. not over and above) training, and did a few BRICs, granted the run portion of these never exceeded 3 miles. My issue has been coming off the bike with enough time to make my sub 6hr cutoff, but then blowing up on the run. Legs feel like bricks, can't muster up a good rythm. Into a scramble by mile 8-9, and then constant calf and quad cramps by 13. Hobbling up to the finish. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Hydration, strength etc? Idk hoping someone whose had similar issues may have some advice on how to overcome.
