Beckman low pay for field applications?

Is it me or does Beckman pay poorly for field applications?

Senior Field Applications Specialist West (Chem/IA) - $40.00 - 43.00 with 80% travel on west coast

I'm looking to escape a toxic lab and interested in going to the vendor side, but the pay seems low? Or maybe it's just Beckman?

PTO freeze period for labs?

We've had staffing issues and have an upcoming LIS upgrade from Cerner to EPIC. Upper management said we have a 5 month PTO freeze from June to October due being short staffed. Can they do that? I know I have 5 sick days I can take, but not PTo?

Several phlebotomists have quit after their PTO was denied but I don't have that luxury.

I'm at Adventist Health in California.
