Amore in Italia is a 192-page standalone queer romantic graphic novel. The story follows Julian, an anxious American tourist, who accidentally spills pistachio gelato all over the favorite green shirt of Matteo, a charismatic local artisan.
What starts as a messy, accidental meet-cute turns into a gorgeous summer romance when Matteo offers to show Julian the real Florence. The plot thickens when they discover a mysterious, weathered journal from the 1950s hidden in Matteo's family workshop. Together, they set off to retrace the journal's steps across Italy to uncover a long-lost love story.
