A pocket-sized celebration inside a walnut

One half of the shell contains a chest of drawers (the drawer of which opens), on which sits a bottle and pacifier for the baby. Helium balloons float to the ceiling, and on the rug lie blocks and a large teddy bear. These toys are dutifully awaiting their time when the baby grows up and can play with them.

The other half of the shell contains the baby's crib, a rocking chair for mom, and a small table with a book of fairy tales on it. A floor lamp stands nearby, the soft light of which makes it so comfortable and cozy for the baby to read ☺️

A banner in the shell reads "Happy Birth of Your Son." A walnut card is a creative and unusual gift that, unlike a paper one, will last for years ☺️

Made this miniature garden locket. Would love some feedback for future improvements!

Hi everyone! I’d love to get some feedback on this handmade locket amulet that I made.
Inside, there is a tiny garden scene, but I'm not quite happy with how the wire tree on the left turned out. I cannot remake or redo it now, but I would really appreciate your honest thoughts and constructive criticism. What do you think of the overall look, and how could I improve this design for my future projects?
Thank you!

Handcrafted: Miniature "Home Library" in a Walnut Shell

I love to read and dream of a large home library, but I haven't yet been able to make my dream a reality. So I decided to make it a reality in my own miniature version 😁.

A home library is housed in a closed walnut cabinet, hidden from prying eyes. But if you open the door and turn on the light, a fire in the fireplace and a floor lamp will light up, making it so comfortable to read under. Opposite the fireplace is a large three-tiered bookcase with books and a small stepladder for convenience. Next to the fireplace is an armchair and a small table with a book, most likely "Shantaram."

Wall-e & Eva

A wondrous microcosm unfolds within a tiny walnut shell. At the center of the composition is the robot Wall-E: he carefully holds a delicate plant growing in an old shoe in his mechanical hands, as if admiring its beauty. The graceful Eve hovers nearby—her smooth lines and glowing eyes convey genuine admiration for the moment. A small cockroach lurks beside Eve: it doesn't look frightening, but rather like an old friend accustomed to the company of robots. All this creates an atmosphere of quiet joy and friendship among these unusual characters.

Owl's tiny house inside a walnut shell, inspired by Winnie the Pooh 🦉

Today I want to share this whimsical miniature with you. Inside this small walnut shell, there is a cozy little house inspired by the Soviet Winnie the Pooh cartoon, complete with a tiny, fairytale version of the Owl.
This project is all about magic and creativity, where every single detail is crafted to capture the cozy atmosphere of a forest fairytale.

My tiny handmade worlds inside real walnut shells!

Hi Reddit! I make tiny worlds inside walnut shells. What do you think?

Hi everyone! My name is Elena Boyko, and I’m a miniature artist from Russia. I’ve always been fascinated by tiny things, so I started creating these little dioramas inside real walnut shells. Each shell opens up to reveal a tiny hand-painted story — from cozy mountain cabins to fairy tale characters.
It takes a lot of patience and a very steady hand, but I absolutely love the process. I’m so excited to finally share my passion here. I'd love to hear your thoughts!
