We are getting GTA 6 before Things 4!😁
As someone who has used Things 3 since 2017, I appreciate the app’s simplicity and strong foundation. It is fast and functions like a Swiss knife, though adding major features such as attachments, collaboration, and a kanban board has taken long time to implement. I listened to the podcast with the Things app CEO, he confirmed they held back features for a future Things 4 release. I doubt we will see Things 4 anytime soon; I expect an announcement next summer or in fall 2027. The positive aspect is that they will avoid a subscription model and keep the one-time purchase. I am frustrated and considering another tool, torn between Notion and the Tasks kanban app. What do you use currently to complete your projects?
