When planning my uppcoming China trip, I could not decide between Chengdu or Shanghai. I am already going to Beijing and Xi'an, and chose Chengdu as a third city.
But now i'm overthinking it.
Please share your best Chengdu tips so i might feel a little bit better and be more confident in my choice.
I have this weird obsession with historical people/ideas/events that for some unfortunate reason have been either dismissed, overshadowed, or otherwise forgotten, but which deserves to be restored or resurrected.
One of my favorite examples is that of Judas Taddaios, one of Jesus apostles. Unfortunately he shares the same name as Judas Iscariot, a much more famous, but also hated, apostle. Taddaios legacy is thus completely overshadowed by Iscariots.
I need your help with finding more examples like this. I does not have to be a person, it could also be an idea like Lamarckism or an event!
