I’m looking to land my apprenticeship in early june, and ive already built up a bit of a relationship with the person i’d most like to be my mentor (shadowed, visited at conventions, we follow eachother on social media etc) and as much as i know this will help, its making me second guess the application process! most of the time people say go in person and ask to speak with them but she is very busy and i’d hate to show up all nervous just for her to not be in the shop that day or be actively working on a client. should i email or message her beforehand and ask when she is available to talk about apprentice opportunities? or is that a no-no
