I had a fistulotomy almost 12 weeks ago and I’m still experiencing drainage :( it’s minimal but still there. I have no pain and the drainage has decreased significantly since the surgery but I still wear gauze every day and there are small amounts of yellow drainage (usually increases after a BM). I messaged my CRS at the 2 month mark and they weren’t concerned and said to contact them again if there was any pain or any increase in drainage. I am going to contact them again this week because I was not expecting to have drainage at this point and everything online says something different. I’m so frustrated. I was so confident this surgery would be successful. I’ve had 6 surgeries in 2 years and don’t think I can mentally take any more.😭
