I know every new weight loss drug gets called game-changing, and people are understandably skeptical at this point. But retatrutide seems a bit different?

From what I’ve seen so far:

Multi-pathway approach (GLP-1, GIP, glucagon) instead of just one mechanism

Early trial results showing pretty significant weight loss compared to previous options

Some researchers even suggesting it could push outcomes beyond what we’ve seen with semaglutide or tirzepatide

So I’m curious how people here see it:

Are we looking at a real step forward in obesity treatment, or just a better-marketed iteration of what we already have?

And for those following the research closely — does the mechanism actually make you more confident in its long-term potential?
