allison on X: "I’m so glad someone captured the whole convo between Obama and Caitlin! It’s so special that the first thing said to her was “don’t let all this nonsense get you down. Don’t lose that joy. The games the game and you’re a hooper.”
Don't lose her joy.
That's all I want for her too! 🥰
ANOTHER HISTORIC NIGHT FOR CAITLIN CLARK 🤯
Clark became the first player in WNBA history to record 25+ PTS, 10+ AST, and a +25 plus/minus in a single game. 🤩🥳🥰
Caitlin Clark, Fever Continue to Deliver in Ratings Department
si.comThe July 18 New York Liberty vs. Indiana Fever game on CBS is now the second most-watched WNBA game since 2000, averaging 2.579 million viewers and peaking at 3.089 million!
I knew about her 45 and 10 record in less time than the 4 other NBA players with same state line. But I didn't know about THIS part of her record that makes it even MORE remarkable!
NO player - NBA or WNBA - has EVER scored 45 points in less than 30 minutes of play... Except for Caitlin Elizabeth Clark! Not even MJ did that! Just absolutely INCREDIBLE!!
There are only 5 players in NBA/WNBA history with 45+ points, 10+ assists, 4+ steals, and 2+ blocks in a SINGLE game...
And SHE is the ONLY one of the 5 to do all that in UNDER 30 minutes! 🐐
WNBA Communications on X: "The July 12 Indiana Fever vs. Las Vegas Aces game on NBC and Peacock is now the most-watched WNBA game of the 2026 season, averaging 2.64 million viewers and peaking at 2.8 million! It also stands as the second most-watched WNBA regular season game since 2000." / X
x.comEither we're gonna get run over by Vegas tomorrow night, or hopefully they're gonna have one hell of a hangover after Phoenix!
Vegas is absolutely DESTROYING Phoenix right now!! 😳
Indiana Fever Achieve Unwanted WNBA Record as Mercury Secure Revenge Win Amid Concerning Caitlin Clark Update
“The Fever have set a new WNBA record for most losses in a season when scoring 100+ points. Four of their eight losses this season have come despite them scoring over 100 points.”
Caitlin Clark's sixth-straight game with 20+ points & 5+ assists is the longest streak in WNBA history 🔥
Make it 7 games in a row Wednesday night, Caitlin!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🥳
Lexie Hull's Struggles Emphasize Concerning Fever Roster Flaw
si.comLegit question: Why is this team an average team at best?
We have a once in a lifetime superstar, a generational talent with unmatched shooting and passings skills who has elite court vision in Caitlin Clark.
We have 2 all-stars in AB and Mitchell, who could arguably be in the MVP conversation at times.
We have a good player who could be a great player in Sophie.
We have Lexie who can be good at times and if not so timid, can shoot 3's proficiently. We all know she has unmatched energy.
Lots of teams would kill for those kinds of players on their team.
And yet, this team is mediocre at best and downright horrible at times.
What is the problem?
Is it Coaching?
Is it just poor defense from the players?
Is it poor decisions from the FO?
Is it because we just breath and the refs call a foul on us?
How can we have 3 potential MVP players on our team and still be this bad?
Fever Overtime Win Should Be Final Push Toward Starting Lineup Change
si.comCaitlin Clark & Aliyah Boston are the first duo in WNBA history to each record a 30-point double-double in the same game.
🤯🤯🤯
Caitlin Clark extends her record for most 30 point 10 assist games in WNBA history moving up to 3 (next closest is 4 players with 1)
x.comWNBA All-Star voting begins this Thursday 2pm! 🗳️
Don't forget to start voting for our Fever ladies this Thursday, folks! 🗳️🤩💪🥳😎👌🔥
This makes me very happy! 😭🥳🥰
CC's teammates giving her lotsa love right after the game ends!! 🥰
Caitlin's lower 3PM (3 Pointers Made) percentage is because she's taking LESS 3PA (3 Pointers Attempted) per game under Stephanie White.
As you can see in the first pic, Caitlin's last two years in college, she averaged 11.5 3-point shots per game and made 38.35% of those. She was the PRIMARY ball handler during that time. She rarely was off the ball under Coach Bluder.
"You don't tell a racehorse WHOA!" as Coach Bluder always said about letting Caitlin shoot.
So far this year, as you can see in the second pic covering this year under Stephanie White (per the last 5 games), Caitlin is averaging 6.2 3-point shots per game with a 31% make percentage. Even under the FULL 2026 season stats, she's only averaging 7.5 3-point shots per game and that's only higher because on May 15th against Washington, she took 17 3-point shots and made 7 of them.
My point is, I think the reason that Caitlin is making less of her 3-point shots under White is because under Stephanie White, she handles the ball a lot less and the ball rarely gets back to her when she does handle the ball and passes it to her teammates and therefore is not in rhythm when she attempts a rare 3-point shot. Not to mention when she does get the ball back and attempts a 3-point shot, it's usually under duress taking the shot because of White's poor offensive system.
I think she made more 3-point shots under Coach Bluder because she took more 3-point shots as the primary ball handler and therefore was in better rhythm when taking them. She had better 'feel' because she took more shots under Bluder. Bluder never told her, "WHOA!"
Stephanie White has literally taken the 'rhythm' out of CC's 3-point shot. White has told her, "WHOA, Caitlin!!"
If you're not repeatedly doing something as much as you use to, you're not going to be as good at it as you used to be. Hence - why Caitlin is in a 3-point shooting slump under White. She's out of rhythm.
Sorry about my writing skills.
Thoughts? 😊
One of the greatest passes I've ever seen in basketball! (New video angle)
CC whips it AROUND a defender and THROUGH Howard's legs. Just AMAZING! 😎👌🔥
