How do you "hold off" microsleeps?
I'm currently being tested for narcolepsy type 1 (had my sleep study, waiting for results) and as a result of having to come off of my medication for my sleep study, my microsleeps have gotten more frequent than before and I'm really struggling. I know the advice is not to fight it and to go take a nap but that's not exactly possible when you're in the middle of the work day, so I was wondering if anyone had any tips for how to hold off a microsleeps until it's safe to actually sleep?
My current method is just keeping active but it doesn't work 100% of the time so any suggestions would be really helpful 😭🙏
