[Discussion] Philippines Own Car Brand
Na-curious lang ako kasi nakita ko ulit sa fb memories ko yung post ng FMC (Francisco Motors) about their van na fully EV.
I also know that they've been building/manufacturer of jeepneys for years now. Pero bakit parang hindi sila "sikat"? Compared to VinFast. I've been to Vietnam and ang dami nilang advertisements duon for VinFast, their own branches too like Toyota, Honda, etc. Majority rin ng Grab Taxis nila naka VinFast.
It's sad lang na hanggang ngayon wala parin tayo sariling car brand sa Pilipinas. I really wish the best for FMC (though please update your logo).
Would like to hear your thoughts about Filipino car brands, do you think it's achievable to have sedan or SUV created by Filipinos or stuck nalang tayo sa jeepney style automotives?
