Help I literally have no idea what to do! Ants infesting my enclosure.
So I was on vacation for a week and my cousins texted me saying there was a bunch of sugar ants crawling around in my snake enclosure…. When I got home we first sprayed diluted vinegar around the outside of the tank, then put a bunch of retro liquid ant traps outside the tank as well so I could wait for them to all die to properly deep clean the tank. We thought it was going successfully and less ants were visible. HOWEVER! I went to lift up the water bowl and HUNDREDS OF ANTS WERE UNDERNEATH IT ALIVE. They started crawling EVERYWHERE. I am literally stressing over this so much bc idk what to do and literally don’t know how to deep clean this with all those ants crawling around still.
Pls any advice will help, including advice on what to do with my snake in the meantime.
