Hi everyone,
Recently purchased a used dishwasher and paid a plumber to hook it up since my landlord require plumbing to be fixed by a professionnal. I tried to run the dishwasher yesterday and it made a mess when I wasn't looking.
Initially, I tought it was maybe the door that was broken. However, after cleaning the water and moving back the dishwasher in its spot, I realized the drain hose (I think it is, see the picture) wasn't connected to the pump anymore. I thought maybe I removed it by accident when moving the dishwasher, as I know for sure the plumber tested the drain hose (not through a whole cycle however, juste running it for 5 min and then draining it) and it was connected when he left. I didn't find any hose clamp around and I simply reconnected the hose to the pump. I tried to start a new cycle again, this time closely watching for any leak, and when it came the time of the spray (i think) the hose simply got pushed out and all the water sprayed everywhere.
Is a hose clamp always supposed to be installed and my plumber simply forgot about it ?
