Finally entering bro territory!
I’ve tried before to leave peanuts out for my neighborhood crows, but I’ve had trouble finding good spots for the crows to access that my big dogs can’t reach, and never ended up getting their attention.
FF to recently, I put out feeders and a bird bath which brought in sparrows, and the crows began to notice. I added peanuts to the feeder, but I think maybe the hanging feeder was too unstable for them. But now they’ve clocked the peanuts on the fence post and are cleaning me out within minutes!
Any tips for me to enhance my bro-hood now that we’ve broken the ice? While I’d love to keep refilling their peanuts all day, I’m guessing I’m better off leaving a few out in the morning and a few more in the evening daily to keep them coming around for treats without my yard becoming their full meal plan. Anything else I should do? Words of advice?
Thank you all for your guidance!!
