These are made to fit 15mm binder clips, which can then be clipped onto my notebooks, or used to hold stacks of papers.

I have plans for some proper, cohesive sets around different themes such as large projects, daily journaling, and general creativity!

B6 slim is the perfect size for me! I find the original Traveler's size is a bit too tall, and passport size is a too small for writing. A6 feels awkward to me, for some reason?? A5 is a great size for home, but I find it harder for daily carry due to it's size.

My set-up currently holds four notebook inserts, in B6 slim (Midori brand) - three lined, and one plain (for drawing), and two PVC zipper inserts. Notebook usage as follows:

  • Business stuff (lined)
  • Art ideas (lined)
  • Drawing/design (plain)
  • Personal notes (lined)

Two pen(cil) cases, holding two pen/pencil sets, along with a pencil in the elastic guard. The top one clips to the one behind it with a binder clip, and the elastic is sandwiched in to hold them in place.

Leather binder clip tabs, for keeping track of things (still an experiment!). One is clipped on a notebook, and one is holding some loose papers.

Photo four shows the heavy yarn cord I have on the spine, to act as bookmarks for quick reference.

It's been so much fun growing this system - changing and adding things as I need, and seeing everything gain patina and marks from use. It gets a lot of wear from being in my bag daily!

What do you think?

The two Steadtlers are part of my current daily carry, so it was easy to get an updated photo. They fit nice in the case!
