First quote, how's it look?
Just started looking into solar, and we need a new main panel. I heard about SPAN and had an installer come out for a quote. They gave me a quote for solar, battery, and a new 200amp panel. Does this look standard? Would I be better using a local electrician for the breaker box, or is it better to use a company that will do it all? I've heard SPAN has poor customer service, and their proprietary software can be an issue. I'd love feedback from anyone that has their breaker box, and especially if anyone has gotten a whole system installed together, vs those that did it piecemeal.
Edit to add location, I'm in southwest MI.
