Just wanted to share my starting point (33 female)

*first post deleted because I didn't edit my daughter out of the pic

I can't wait until I have one of those incredible "after pics" but I'm excited to be a part of this group and I'm only on week 2 of tirz at 2.5.

I'm 33, female, living in the Midwest and I'm currently 5'9 and started at 202-204lbs before tirz and I'm now at 194 after doing a first thing in the morning weigh in today.

My goal weight is 140, I think that would be a good point but it might change when I get there. Being tall I want to make sure I still look healthy and I haven't been 140 since I was a lot younger and super sick but that is what the charts say a healthy weight for me is.

I love and appreciate being a part of this group so much and you guys teach me so much.

I've started tracking my food like you all suggested.

Yesterday I ate 1615 calories.. my goal on lose it says 1687 so I'm 72 under.

I'm going to post that separately to see what y'all think but I was told that's my calorie deficit I need to be in?

2nd week after starting

So I started at 201, I'm at 197 now it's been 2 weeks on 2.5mg tirzepatide compound with b12.

I take my shot on Fridays.

For one thing, I have noticed a huge difference in food noise and appetite. Enough to where it honestly brought a tear to my eyes because my entire life I've never felt full, I've always had an insane appetite and felt like it was me having no control and hating myself for not being able to eat 'normally'... I struggled with this lifelong and this is the upper range of the heaviest I've been when I decided to make this change and I am so happy I did..I did not know appetite could be like this. I eat slowly, I actually enjoy food much more and feel full quickly and it is so freeing.

But wanted to ask you guys when you felt you really started seeing a change in your weight? Obviously I know I'm being insanely impatient right now I mean I know it's only been 2 weeks..

I guess I just want hope to hold on to and not give up and have some reassurance that it will work in time.

Is my starting dose way too small to really see any change and I just need to wait until my dose is high enough?

So I finally did it! I ordered from DirectMeds which at first the offer for tirzepatide for new users was $199 first month, $399 after but when I left the webpage without ordering the sent me another deal which was $97 for semaglutide compound or $149 for tirzepatide compound so I ripped the bandaid off and purchased!

Apparently they are sending me three months worth for $149 which is amazing!!!

The dosage is 2.5mg/5/7.5 does that sound fairly normal to you guys?

I'm 5'9, 200lbs, and am hoping to get around 150.

I admit I'm a little nervous, I have always hated needles but I hate being so out of shape and out of breath chasing my toddler and 10 year old around so I am ready to make a big change.

I do get an easily upset tummy and have always struggled with either diarrhea or constipation/GI issues so a little worried about that.

Also, probably not the best time to start spinning out about the thyroid cancer thing but in the back of my head kind of worried that in 20 years I'll die from cancer from using this .. anyone else?

Anyway glad to be part of the club all in all!!! Please those wiser and more seasoned if anyone wants to throw their two cents in I appreciate it!!
