The goal is to avoid the Christmas rush and heat for my parents health. I got carte blanche for these two weeks but like not all 14. But I got the go ahead to pick any days out of those two week from work.
So I want to choose carefully.
My plan is: Disney Oct 28-29, Universal 30-31.
I'm thinking of staying for another 2 days if we can get the Thanksgiving experience for Nov 1-3 or shifting my days to be maybe Oct 29-Nov 5.
I don't count arrival and exit days as true experience days too because travel just take so much out of us. I understand that's not everyone, but for us, we down for the count.
I'm trying to plan carefully because of my parents age and health. This will be the last time we go as a family and we haven't been since before the financial crisis. This is about making one last special memory with my parents as an adult at Disneyland because after this, I doubt I will go again unless I have children or someone asks me to go with them. I wanted this to celebrate my masters gradation and then COVID hit. So....this is where we're at and I've saved up to get us there. So I'm really trying to plan a very special vacation for us.
