Struggle to publish an article
Hi, I am a soon-to-be PhD, 4th year. I have been writing a manuscript for a year now about my 3D printed pharmaceuticals.
I got a rejected answer and feedback from the reviewers on what to improve. I did everything what they have suggested, ended up with 50 pages of the article, explaining everything in great detail, and still rejected for failing to meet "quality standards".
Granted, I know it is a very high impact journal, but I didn't think academia was this merciless.
Welp, guess I gotta look for another journal, again.
I know this is common in the academic community, but truly frustrating and unmotivating, yet pressuring when time is running out.
Any advice or help, or just words of comfort will do. Wanted to vent. Thanks.
