I've been trying to make money with AI for 3 months here's why i'm still at $0
I did everything "right"
- learned the tools
- watched tutorials
- built automations
- made a portfolio
Still no clients. still no income.
So i sat down and tried to figure out what's actually wrong.
here's what i think it is:
I've been optimizing the wrong thing.
I spent 90% of my time getting better at AI and maybe 5% of my time actually talking to people
no cold outreach
no DMs
no posting about what i was building
no asking anyone if they had a problem i could solve.
I basically built a solution and hid it in my room and now i'm wondering -
is this just me or is this the pattern for most people starting out?
like did you go through this phase?
what actually broke the cycle for you?
because i'm starting to think the AI skills are the easy part
the hard part is just... showing up in front of people
