Yesterday morning I left my keys in an Empower. I reported them lost and that they had an AirTag to empower. They said they would reach out to the driver. He denied having them.
Yesterday evening, using my AirTag, I, along with Fairfax Country Police, went to the vehicle and left a note asking the driver to call me. I could see my keys in this cup holder, which means he knows he’s in possession of them. He still has not done contacted me, despite this morning being in DC where I live and coming less than 1000 ft of my residence this morning. I attempted to hail him down on my bike but to no avail. At this point, it’s been 24 hours and 4 attempts to make contact.
This man has my keys and knows where I live. This is a safety hazard. And Empower doesn’t give a fuck. I was suspicious of city council being anti empower but maybe they have a point.
