he is 2 years old and i feed him mice the size of his thickest part, as i’ve been adviced to… however i fear that he might be a little fat.
i’ve heard of other snake’s heads growing slower than the rest of the body, which one is the case?

he is 2 years old, eats and drinks well, is fairly active and curious, but his size worries me… i’ve heard that some snakes that are still growing tend to have their heads grow into their size later, but i would just love some personal reassurance on it, if it is the case. if not, i’d love advice on how to have him live the best life i can give him!
he used to eat once a week (a mouse about as thick as him), but for a few months i’ve fed him every other week, and i just recently bought smaller mice in fear that he is gaining weight.
is he fat or is his head just small…?
