I switched from OpenCode Go to Kimi, but the usage limits on the Moderato plan feel comparable to Claude Pro, even though Kimi 2.6 is significantly cheaper. I bought a new subscription, and after just 7 hours of fairly light coding work, I had already used 25% of my weekly quota. My workflow was mainly using Kimi for planning and DeepSeek 4 Flash for implementation. With OpenCode Go’s 3× limits for Kimi 2.6, I was able to get substantially more usage out of the same model than I can with Kimi’s own Moderato plan for half the price.

I really wish they had a refund policy. Now I’m basically stuck with a subscription that doesn’t match the usage I expected.
