I was a hurt at work in 2024 for my broken back..im 30 years old 😢
Then after surgery they figured out my satica nerve was crush from my L5 dic and have lost my leg function..and have 48% disability rating. (Damage satica nerve) Worker comp accepted the injury and I have a good file...but they stop paying my medical bills so I lawyered up...im allowed back to work light duty..though a workercomp doctor but my medications prevent me form working.. right now im labeled as im permanent disability....
I have going though court 5 times with my company becuase I dont want to settle for nothing and i get 67,000$ a year from workers comp.. .... now my company wants to settle with me.. and my company wants me to name my price..... I have a good lawyer. But hes a lawyer anyone knows on workerscomp...your lawyer wants the easy payout... his starting price was 420,000$ at #1 court
Which is too low if im stuck like this and im only 30..

The way i see it if somehow my company finds me a job. Ill get full pay for 10 years and that worth 800,000$ and if they cant find me a job due to my medications their stuck with me for life.
This is in Pennsylvania
