Last night I had a dream that a woman experiencing domestic violence confided in me and I stepped in to help. First I brought her to my apartment (not where I actually live in real life), found her a job, a new place to live in a new town and she was safe and had a fresh start. I was chilling in my 2nd story apartment with the blinds all open when I notice this loud pickup truck pull up driving really slow with these mean looking rednecks leaning out the windows searching for something. I see them get out with guns drawn and they are peaking in the windows of the apartments. I drop to the floor and hold perfectly still hoping to not be seen. The one who had been driving saw me through the window and smiled and I heard him say “there she is, I found her” as the went around to try and get in I panicked and woke up. It was really scary, I’ve been thinking about it all day.
