I know it may be a bit “extra” of me but I hate the idea of this complex doing this to other people. They sent me over this lease to sign. Meanwhile there was missing or conflicting information, things hidden in addendums that could’ve easily been included in the main lease and on top of everything, a non-disparagement clause that would terminate the lease if violated (I know it’s not actually legally enforcers but on principle alone…). I asked them to fill everything out before I would sign it. I still had not received a complete copy the day before move-in. So I told them to forget it and consider my application withdrawn. Is it worthwhile to file a compliant or report even if I’m not a tenant? This place seems so shady!
