DO NOT TAKE LOANS FROM UNVERIFIED LENDERS‼️

1. Set up your account (once)
   • Comment !login, open the link the bot sends you and connect Google
   • Sign in at loancentral.net with Google
2. Post request and wait for a lender response
   • Use proper format, 1 request per 10 days
3. Come to terms with your lender
4. Your lender records the loan, then sends the funds
   • NO RECORD = NO FUNDS SENT
   • Check it on the dashboard under What I Currently Owe
5. Repay and click Report a Payment
   • Your lender confirms it and the loan updates
6. Loan repaid
   • Shows as Repaid and the post gets the REPAID flair

• Lender dashboard at loancentral.net, connected directly to the bot

• Borrower accounts: see your full borrowing history on the site

• Upgraded security

• Old bugged loans can be fixed: some loans from the old bot never got marked correctly. Lenders will be able to settle their own old loans on the dashboard, and mods will handle any that are left.

Coming later: sync with the LoanCentral Discord.

You can keep tracking loans with bot commands exactly like you do now, or use the dashboard for a faster workflow. To get a dashboard account, comment !login and the bot will DM you a setup link.

If you have an old loan that still shows as unpaid and you think it's wrong, message the mods and we'll look at it case by case.

Downtime: LoanBot 2.0 could go live within the next few days (we need to test it live on the sub). We'll post a downtime notice first. Commands used during the downtime will NOT be recorded, so please wait until we announce it's back.

NOTE the !login command and loancentral.net will not work until the loanbot2.0 is pushed to the reddit bot account please have patience and assume it will be done within the next few days
