Pro-se Success
Hello people-- I am the lead Plaintiff and counsel of record for a 42 USC Section 1983 lawsuit filed in the Northern District of California. I wrote the initial pleading from jail while I was held without bail, no prior criminal history, not charges with a capital crime, while I was attending college after my Honorable service in the US NAVY stationed aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. How was I appreciated for my Honorable service to this country? (Alleged) Jail rape by cop, denial of court access, denial of medical care, denial of basic consitutional rights to include a lawyer. This is an active case, and I do not want to speak about the specifics besides that the allegation that I made were ruled to be capable of judicial determination and that a my claims are plausible on their face. I am not a lawyer. I do not give legal advice. If you are considering filing pro-se ensure that you exhaust your options first, because litigating a Federal case is extraordinarily difficult. Some others may disagree about the difficulty of this endeavor, but teaching yourself federal law while in 23 hour lockdown per day for crimes that you did not commit is about maximum level difficulty. We are having a civil rights crisis in America. Feel free to look at the public docket, the case is filed in Northern District of California, case no 3:25-cv-04305-JSC. The case is about to enter into discovery and the defendants are likely to submit a motion to dismiss, which is likely to survive considering that I already pleaded my complaint in expectation of a motion to dismiss. If anyone has any friendly suggestions, or can help in anyway I would appreciate your support! Does anyone know how I can hire a subject matter expert?
