I am sharing the attached video to bring attention to a severe noise issue currently taking place near Lodha Casa Viva. As of 1:15 AM, there is an ongoing function in the adjacent Balkum Village area involving extremely loud drumming, heavy lighting, and music.
While I fully respect the community's right to celebrate and host local functions, the sheer volume at this hour is unacceptable. It is a clear violation of municipal noise pollution regulations, which strictly prohibit the use of heavy percussion and loudspeakers well past the 10:00 PM cutoff. The noise is easily penetrating closed windows in the surrounding residential complexes, causing a massive disruption to everyone's sleep and overall peace.
It is crucial that there is mutual respect for residential boundaries and adherence to the law regarding late-night disturbances.
Has anyone else in the Balkum/Majiwada vicinity been impacted by this tonight? * What are the most effective, official channels to report this to the Thane Police or TMC?
I am looking for the proper way to escalate this so the authorities can firmly address the situation and ensure these late-night violations do not become a regular occurrence. Any guidance from residents who have successfully handled similar noise complaints would be appreciated.
