Hello, this is my first query in reddit, and I am panicking. I am applying for a Schengen VISA to Germany. I have booked an appointment on 5th May at the German Embassy in Kolkata, India. There were no dates before that. My travel date is on 24th May. I need the passport by 22nd May, since the passport collection only happens on weekdays.

Will the VISA application be outright rejected? Is there a chance I might get my VISA approved. Or should I change the flight bookings? Or are there any other alternatives?
